But that's apparently not enough to satisfy Metro fans, who've expressed a general distaste of the unexpected deal. In the days following the exclusivity announcement, however, both games have received close to 1000 negative reviews each, causing their recent reviews to drop into the "Mixed" and "Very Negative" categories. Development on Metro Exodus started in 2014 at 4A Games, shortly after the launch of Metro: Last Light. Metro: Last Light Redux and Metro 2033 Redux both sit within the "Very Positive" category in terms of all-time Steam reviews, having each received over 88% positive feedback. This move has apparently drawn the ire of many Steam players, leading to the Metro: Last Light Redux and Metro 2033 review bomb on Steam.
Earlier this week, Metro Exodus publisher Deep Silver announced that the game would now be releasing exclusively on the Epic Games Store.
